The City of Cranston witnessed the birth of my first billingual poetry book "Inspiration of the soul and 4th published book/La ciudad de  Cranston fue testigo del nacimiento de mi primer poemario  bilingue  "Inspiracion del alma" y 4to libro publicado.

Event coordinated by Rocio Poirier, Beth Johnson, Kathyn Dorchies and Joseph

On the sundown of September 15, 2014, and under a serene environment produced by the reddishness of the sunrays when they appear to be touching the surface of the earth, the poetry book “inspiration of the soul,” was presented to a very selected, enthusiastic and eager group of distinguished citizens of Rhode Island.  The opening ceremony was performed by  our community leader Carmen Jusino.  She spoke about the poet’s character, describing her as an impeccable mother, great leader and human being. Mrs. Jusino introduced Mistress of Ceremony Karla Jaramillo and Mister of Ceremony, Broadcaster Hugo Adames.   Ms. Jaramillo presented a synopsis of how difficult it was for Poet Cruz Cabrera to accomplish this new goal.  Broacaster Hugo Adames talked about the contribution of Poet Cruz Cabrera to the community of providence through her leadership participation in many organization where she has been doing volunteer services, such as the Dominican Independence Award Committee of Rhode Island where he witrnessed her  extraordinary performance as a Secretary when he was the President of the Committee, also as Co-Chair of Active Latino at Lifespan, Rhode Island Collegue Alumni Association and RIPLA among others.  Poet Christie O'Neil Harrison provided a very explicite and emotional description of the poetry book stating her point of view as a poet and appreciating the quality of Poet Cruz Cabrera's work as a poet and as a sonnet writer.  Senator Juan Pichardo also spoke about author Cruz Cabrera with kind words and endorsed her idea of encouraging fathers more active participation in the life of their children.

This poetry book testifies once again Poet and composer Cruz Cabrera contribution to the Dominican-Hispano-American Literature.

Ana Arelys Cruz Cabrera’s poetry book main purpose is to celebrate all the fathers of the world for their accomplishment and positive contribution in the life of their children. She wrote and created the melody of the Anthem to the father in both languages, Spanish and English.  In this occasion, two fathers were recognized: Mr. Eugenio de Jesus Monsanto Valle and Mr. Ernesto Diaz.  They received the Outstanding Father Recognition from Representative Robert Jacquard of the city of Cranston.
